Happy things.

A few of the little things that have made me smile in the last few weeks, courtesy of my phone!
Double-chocolate-chip cookies, in the afternoon, on a pretty plate. Yum!
Spending some quality quiet alone time in the mornings, and reflecting on this verse, especially in relation to my responses and reactions toward Max and the kids.  I so want my heart to be full of joy and life and grace and love and Jesus, so that those things come forth from my mouth.
Waking up to find that lego castles built the night before had been left out by the TV, to keep me company during my early morning workout!  Love those kids.
Eating lots of colors.  And drinking coffee.  Definitely makes me a happy mama.
My little boy swinging high up in the sky, soaking up the sunshine.
Walking home from a playdate.  Apparently, we do things as a team around these parts - everybody was helping push Evie in the stroller.  I love the way they love on her.  And that we are starting to make friends!
Last night, once the kids were in bed and all my nightly tasks were completed, I sat down to read.  And drink a cup of tea.  Seriously, that book?!  I laugh, I cry, I reflect.  It's beautiful and even though I have a few more pages to finish, I already want to read it again!
Above is the face of one happy mama.  The kids slept just a little bit longer, so I had time to shower after I worked out this morning!  Sorry to say, but that doesn't always happen until later in the day or at night, and I go through the day pretty smelly (at least the kids never seem to care!!), so this morning was a treat, and I felt just a little bit more put together!  Oh, and of course, that owl mug.  Full of coffee.  That makes me happy too.

What are some of your happy things this week?!
