Oh, hey there sweet Baby #3!

{Baby #3 profile}
 I had my mid-pregnancy ultrasound today.  We kindly asked the nice ultrasound technician to keep the gender to herself and she, in turn, kindly reminded us not to look when she did, ha!  Like I would be able to tell!  I watched with both of the kids, and had no idea!  I am still convinced it's a little girl, and Max is still adamant it's a little boy - less than 20 weeks and we'll know the answer!

Our little babe has two arms, two legs, two eyes, two kidneys (I knew you'd be curious, Mama D!) and a beating heart, with a solid, steady heartbeat.  Everything looks great and s/he is only measuring a few days ahead of schedule.  The sweet little baby was peacefully resting until the technician started pushing down on my belly, and then s/he got a bit aggravated and started flipping every which way.  The babe is currently in a breech position, but it's way early to be concerned about that, considering how much it dances and practices its little ninja moves!

This was the first ultrasound that Max has been at with any of our kids - I don't know if he thought was as cool as I do, but it made me super happy to have him there with me, watching our little one on the screen. So glad we got to "see" our babe, dancing around, and be reminded of how much God has knit this little one together, and how He has such beautiful plans for it.  It makes me all the more eager to meet our baby #3 face-to-face and get to know him or her!  All in due time!

  2. Oh I can't wait to find out what you're having! Maybe as excited as you ;)

    This week I think you're having a girl. I think I said boy last time, but now it's girl.
