Come On In {a tour}!

Come on in and take a look around our (dark - it was raining out!) house today!  Sue @ Hello. Also, I love you., along with Laura @ Our Reflection are hosting a joint link-up, in which we get to share our homes with one another.  I thought it would be great fun to let you all into our house today (for those that haven't been here before!) and give you a peek into where we live and do life as a little family!

So, without further ado, welcome! As you walk in the front door, you see the stairs to your right and the rest of the downstairs to your left.
Walking to the left, you enter the main part of our house.  Living room is spread out, followed by our dining area, kitchen, laundry, etc.  You'll also see the "french doors" which open to our screened porch, which still looks much like it did when we gave it a little makeover last year!
Walking further into our living room, you see more of our kitchen, with the door leading to the laundry room and garage.  The desk is behind the kitchen table and is where we keep our computer.
Turning back around, you get a better view of our living room.  There is a little hall off the living room, which has a powder room and storage closet (we love our storage space!).  You'll also see the family photo wall (it moved from the wall across from it, when we moved the furniture around) I hung up last fall.
A better view of the kitchen.  If you look REALLY close, you'll see three coffee tins all the way above the microwave.  Max and the kids got me two of those for Mama's Day, and I LOVE them!
Looking into our laundry room.  I spend a LOT of time in here doing mass quantities of laundry! The door in front of you is the garage.  And you'll notice one fish tank.  There are a bajillion more in the house and garage.  Ok, maybe not a bajillion, but my husband is a fish lover/addict...
Turning back around, you see the kitchen again, and the way back towards the front door!  That's our downstairs!
We really like our house - the tall ceilings, the open space, the windows that let in light (because I NEED my light!), the big kitchen - and are blessed to have such a lovely place to live.  It's been fun making it a home and learning to live together as a little family the last year and a half.  Hope you enjoyed our downstairs tour - maybe I'll share the upstairs in a few weeks!!

I'll be doing something similar in the next couple of weeks as we get done with the renovation of our living room. I'm getting all inspired by you.
