36 weeks // Baby #3

36 weeks pregnant today, with our little baby #3.  Getting closer and more anxious to meet this little one.  The days have started to feel LONG, and I think it's mostly because I am just eager for our babe to make an appearance.  I'm sure Baby #3 will be much like our other two, and make us wait to make a debut.  Ah well, I guess it's another lesson in patience and trusting in God's timing!

I am feeling good, albeit more and more tired.  I have gained, so far, between 20-25 pounds, which the Doc says is perfect.  I haven't had a Doc appt in a few weeks, and am eager to see if I am dilated at all.  The Braxton-Hicks have been getting stronger and more frequent.  Once I get in bed (and can manage to stay in bed without having to pee every 5 minutes...), I have no trouble sleeping.  The only other thing that plagues me is heartburn, which I can control mostly with portion sizes and what/when I eat.

I have been craving cheesecake and chocolate like crazy.  Mmmm...cheesecake with a brownie bottom and caramel sauce?!  Bring it on, haha!  The kids are getting excited - anytime I talk about doing something for the baby, L asks if it's time for me to pop the baby out yet.  It's cute.  And Ezzy will look at me and the baby, and say "Pop!", like he wants me to shoot it out right then and there.  I'm sure the kids will have some different opinions once the baby arrives and they realize how different things will be for them, but it makes me happy at how eager they are for this little one.

I thought, for a little fun, we could do some comparing.  I pulled out some photos from my previous pregnancies.  The first one below is from when I was pregnant with Eliana, between 35-36 weeks, when Max came home for a weekend the beginning of September 2009.  I posted a few other photos of my "33-week L belly" a few years ago, you can find them HERE.
The photo below was taken 2 years ago, when I was about 36 weeks pregnant with Ezra, the end of September 2010.  I also had some lovely photos taken by Keely Joy Photography, when I got L's 1-year old photos done.  I posted about them HERE
So, what do you think?  Any similarities between the belly pictures?  Does that change your opinion on whether it is a girl or a boy?  Is my belly bigger this time around?  Because some days I feel like I have a super huge watermelon chilling down there!  Oh the fun of being pregnant and getting ready to meet this little babe - only a few more weeks to go and s/he will be here - WOOT!
