NC Zoo Visit
Sunday, May 06, 2012
Two weeks ago, we packed into the car and drove a few hours to meet my Great-Aunt and Great-Uncle at the NC Zoo, for the afternoon. It was a bit of a drive, but well worth it. We had a great (and tiring!) time walking through the entire Zoo, and then going out to a fabulous local BBQ place for dinner before heading home. Here are a few snapshots from our day:
We left our house at 0700. It was an early Saturday morning, but we were excited.
Cute little feet and flips // L and the tortoise // flamingoes // watching the geyser
The babes and their sweet rides.
L's bunny ears from Kathy & David // Z demolishing an ice cream cone // L's painted butterfly face and messy ice cream lips // L's favorite was the elephant
The kids got to ride on the Carousel. They LOVED it!
Great-Aunt Kathy and Great-Uncle David, with L and Z.
The babes were tuckered out and crashed immediately upon sitting down in their carseats // a group photo from the day
Thanks Kathy & David, for meeting us for our visit to the NC Zoo! We had a fantastic day!
