Easter weekend and my birthday!

Has it really been over a week since I last posted?!
Yikes! Where has the time gone?!
The tail-end of last week just got busy.
I was getting things ready for Easter, taking care of a sick toddler, dealing with a fussy infant.
Saturday came along - poor L had some high fevers, but was a trooper.
We had an Easter egg hunt (complete with cotton ball bunny poop!).
I really wish I would have been documenting that day, but alas, I did not.
No pictures, sad day!

I was so excited for Easter.
It was our first time celebrating Easter as a family.
Max's first Easter at home in a few years.
We were going to go to church, have a big dinner with some guests and celebrate the Resurrection.
I was stoked!

And then, I woke up really early Sunday morning super sick.
Like stomach-flu sick.
It was not pretty.
I don't even remember if I got out of bed that day.
Plus, L's fever had gone up the night before, so Max took her into the Doc Sunday morning.
She just had a virus (which we pretty much have all had now...).

Max did awesome with kiddo's all day.
Although he did keep saying how he didn't know how I did it all day long, everyday, with both of them.
But he got things done and kept the house together.

Monday was not much better.
I still felt pretty terrible.
Thankfully, Max had off and was able to help a lot with the kids again.
And Tuesday, my parents flew in to visit (cause it's my birthday today!!).

It's been a crazy few days, but I am finally feeling a bit better.
I can sort of eat again and not need Tylenol to help me get through the day.

Which is good, because like I said, it's my birthday today!!!
I'm 25 today.
Holy stromboli!
That's half a century!

My parents are in town to celebrate with us.
I think they are going to watch the kiddo's tonight so Max and I can go out!
I don't think Max and I have been out, sans babies, since he's been home.
We're both kind of excited :)

Although being sick slowed me down, I'll be sure to whip out the camera in the next few days.
There will be more pictures and adventures and stories to come, promise!
