29 weeks.
Tuesday, August 10, 2010I titled this post '29 weeks', however I don't have much to say about being 29 weeks, nor do I have a photo (you'll have to wait until next week to see my very large and growing 30 week belly!). I am feeling good - just tired and my belly is feeling heavier and heavier. I have started waddling. And this heat is not my friend - it wears me out to no end! I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow morning, so we'll see how much weight I've gained/how the little man is doing/etc.
Today, L and I hit up a maternity consignment store with Auntie Aimee. It's a neat idea, I think. Women can take their gently used (they call it stretched, ha ha!) clothing to the store, get cash for it on the spot, then the store sells back the clothing at a super low cost. For instance, all tops are $6 and all jeans are $10. You can't beat $10 for a pair of jeans that you know won't shrink! I found a few more pairs of jeans - the ones I have been wearing (for over a year and a half now...) are feeling a little snug, plus they have gotten a little too short (so I wear them as capri's - I promise it doesn't look too tacky that I roll them up!), so they look silly when I wear them as long pants. I was excited to find a few "long" maternity jeans today! They'll get me through until October. They also have some baby clothes, so I snagged a few rompers for next spring for the little man and a cute pair of cream colored shoes for L. Exciting stuff!
Other than that, we just tried to stay inside as much as possible - it was another super warm and humid day, interspersed with thunderstorms. Ok, enough of the boring run-down of our day. Here are some pictures I've had flagged to share for over a week. Enjoy my daughter's silly antics!
Eating. Messy. Waving bye-bye at me, a few days after she learned. She opens and closes her fist to wave. It's cute!
One of her newfound fascinations is the fly-swatter we have hanging on the fridge. She crawls on over, pulls it off, then bangs it all over the place. She is good about not putting it in her mouth - that would be icky! Oh! And you can see her kitty-cat that she has been dragging around for the past week. She LOVES that thing!
This is her "Huh!" face - she makes this high-pitched noise of wonder when she sees/finds something new. It's super cute (although at the store, when there are lots of cool things to see and she is constantly making that noise, quite LOUDLY, it can get a little overkill, ha ha!)

ReplyDeleteI love the cat/toothbrush pic and the "huh" face! Too stinkin cute...you make me jealous with your beautiful baby! I am so anxious to see how your little man turns out, I'm sure he will be just as adorable as L! Also humidity is yucky and ruins my life! I am used to the california dry heat and here on va beach there is no such thing...it is sticky and nasty everyday and my hair has looked horrendous since i got here! I seriously need to find a good straightening product...lol!
