so wednesday i will officially be 38 weeks pregnant. holy smokes! the little one could come anytime at this point! everyone at work keeps telling me that all the target mom's have their babies early because they are on their feet so much. i wouldn't mind if she decided to come a few days early! i am getting more and more anxious to meet this precious little one and learn what it means to be a mama. feeling as ready as i can be before she gets here. i am of the opinion that one can never be fully prepared or ready for a baby. but we have the things we need in order to survive...diapers, crib, car seat, clothes...the essentials are in place. the next few weeks could hold a lot of drama or at least make good fodder for a movie...mom and dad are venturing to mexico city next week and will be gone for an entire week before my due date. the brother is getting some major throat surgery the day after my due date...all these big events plus the unknown of when this baby will arrive could add up to be quite an adventure! i am excited to see how it all goes down!
