I celebrated my birthday last week!  The kids and I didn't do anything crazy, but it was a good day!!  Emma and I went out to use my birthday money, in the morning while the kids were at school, and to get my free coffee.  I skyped with a dear friend during nap time, and then we picked up In N Out Burger for dinner!  The kids insisted that I light a candle while they sang me Happy Birthday, which was sweet - I did have to convince Ezra that I was not about to light 31 candles, and that one would suffice! 

The day after my birthday, I was able to meet up with one of my best friends, who was in town visiting her sister.  Our babysitter came to put the kiddos to bed, and I got to head out for a few hours.  It was so good to see Aimee, to spend a few hours sans kids, and to catch up with her and some of her family!  It sure did my heart good!  We ate a delicious dinner, then walked down to see the sunset at the beach - it was a lovely evening!
