Our Week.

We have had a good week around here.  We kicked it off with Ezra's 2nd birthday last weekend.  I think he thought the day was pretty special - lots of singing the 'happy birthday' song, a few presents, skyping with both sets of grandparents, a trip to his favorite pet store, and some special treats.
I managed to make my first grocery shopping trip with all three kids this week.  I've been out with all three before, but hadn't braved the grocery store experience yet.  It went pretty well.  I had to feed baby Evie in the van before going in, in spite of feeding her right before we left (can anyone say 6 week growth spurt?!).  I laughed as I sat in the backseat, nursing Evie while Eliana and Ezra sat in their carseats.  You gotta do what you gotta do, right?!  Once we finally made it inside, our trip was good - no major meltdowns and only minor fruit snack bribes!

Eliana and Ezra have been playing really well together lately.  It's been fun watching them together, getting creative and coming up with games to play.  We will build a tent, and they'll play "hide-and-seek", laughing so hard when they "find" each other.  They go "grocery shopping" with little bags, collecting all their play food.  They do legos together, and have tea at their little table.  It's cute.  They do have their moments, and we have plenty of lessons on sharing, but for the most part, they do great.  I caught them the other morning, playing in the laundry basket, "calling" people on my calculator:
Then Eliana asked me to take her picture.  This is her saying 'cheese'.  What a goon.
Evie is 6 weeks old now.
I feel like she is getting so big already - they really do grow and change so fast, huh?  The little yellow dress/frock thing is one that I wore as a baby.  I call it her vintage sheep frock.  It's darling on her!  I love taking pictures of her, probably because she sits still.  L & Z are so busy, and lately they never want me to take their picture.  So having a subject that I can just click away at is so fun!
 Evie, checking out her Daddy.
Max has a long weekend off, in honor of Veteran's Day.
We don't have much planned, and that's quite alright with me - relaxing family time is always a good thing!

Happy Friday!
