Christmas, that is.  I love it.  The reason we celebrate. The joy that comes along with it.  The smells - fresh pine and baking cookies and falling snow.  The lights and decorations.  The entire season just makes me happy.  And I can't get enough.  

We may be slightly crazy around here, and have had Christmas music playing since October.  I know, a little early, if you ask me, but it's the best compromise Max and I have come up with.  He would start listening in August if he had it his way, and I say that you should wait until after Halloween, at least.  So, we've agreed on the middle of October.  And you know what?  Even though we've had it playing for weeks now, I am still not tired of it.  There is just something about Christmas that I can't get enough of!

The Christmas decorations even came out a little early this year.  We'll be going to MN for the holiday season, in a few weeks.  And since we won't be at home this year, we still wanted to enjoy our decorations.  Hence, they came out a few weeks ago.  Our walls have been decked.  And it is festive and fun and makes us all smile.  

That picture down there?  Yep, the only one I happened to snap as we pulled out the boxes of ornaments and nativity set and Christmas books and singing Snoopy dogs.  Pretty sure my husband is shaking his booty at me in the picture.  And of course, Ezzy is in full motion, never stopping for anything.  Too funny.
