The Squeaker Sneakers

Little toddler feet grow like crazy.  And they go through shoes like no one's business.  If only I had a GOOD excuse to buy new shoes so often...

Anyways, I recently came across a really good deal on some cute shoes for the kids, and scooped them up.  Before I ordered them, I noted that they were "squeaker" shoes - and almost didn't get them, because I was a little bit worried about the kids making MORE noise with every step.  I quickly figured out that you can "disable" the squeaker, so got the shoes because they were just too darn cute and too good of a deal!

The shoes finally came in the mail last week and we quickly pulled them out of the box and tried them on.  When I set L down on the floor and she heard the noise for the first time, you should have seen the look of pure joy on her little face!  It was absolutely priceless!  She jumped up and down a few times and then just started running around and around and around.  Probably for 15 minutes.  It was awesome!  And made me want my own pair.  Ok, I wanted a pair for about 2 seconds, and then realized how obnoxious they would be!

The kids LOVE their shoes and although we take the squeaker out most of the time, particularly if we are going out, they still adore their "cute" shoes, as Ezzy says!

We took a little video the other day to show off our new kicks.  Enjoy!
