Pudding, parents & sweet songs.

I don't have much inspiration for my blog this week, and I've been a total slacker on taking many photos to share. I finished up my 30 Day Shred Challenge a few days ago, so will compile my results in the next few days. My parents are here this week, visiting, and it's nice having the adult conversation and company - plus, they spoil the kids rotten!
The day before my parents arrived, the kids and I made a trip to pick up some groceries. I promised that they would get a special snack if they behaved and listened well - which they did - so they got to pick out a special snack - which ended up being chocolate pudding...and of course, they made quite the mess!
I don't know why L decided that she needed to dump out her pudding cup on to the table. But she then proceeded to eat with her spoon OFF of the table, ha! What a goofball!
Max is off on a field exercise and I haven't heard from him much - now, I know I have gone longer without seeing him or talking to him, and I know he isn't in a dangerous situation, but I still miss that man! And I can tell the kids feel his absence - L has been especially trying and testing this week and last. I will sure be glad when he comes home, whenever that happens to be. Until then, I will think about songs like the one below, that remind me of him, and of us.

I know exactly what you mean about missing your hubby during training. My hubby was gone for only one night earlier this week, and I still missed him. I miss him any time he's gone, no matter how long or what it's for. I guess it just goes to show that we love our husbands VERY much! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and the pudding on the table sounds exactly like something our son would do. lol!
ReplyDeleteMesses, oh the lovely messes. They're precoius huh? :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pudding on the table and her "outside-the-box" thinking!
ReplyDeleteHey girl, I just wanted to let you know I sent you an email. Not sure if it might end up going to your junk mail or not.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun time with your parents! :)
