33 weeks pregnant!
Tuesday, September 07, 2010Holy stromboli! Can you believe it?! I hardly can! I am 33 weeks pregnant today! I think that I will keep being surprised at how fast time seems to fly when I look at it in terms of this pregnancy - although I'm thankful that counting down weeks until the little blueberry helpskeep time moving in my mind!!! Here's me, today, at 33 weeks:
Nothing super new with the pregnancy. Been craving all things cheese still (mmm, and now I REALLY want a quesadilla!!!). And chocolate. I have been pretty tired lately - but that's normal, plus, I think that as a mama, I will always be somewhat tired :) It's been harder to find a good position to sleep in. I know I should be sleeping on my left side, but I always wake up on my back and have to turn back over - and the turning over is getting more and more laborious as my belly continues to grow and get heavier!
So I've had a slight problem the last few weeks. Some of my pants don't fit. Not just any kind of pants - some of my maternity pants don't fit! EEEK! These are pants I wore all throughout my pregnancy last year with L - so the other day, when I went to put them on and found, to my horror, that they wouldn't button - I was shocked!!! I was at a total loss! And some of my preggo jeans have also become a little too snug right around the bottom of my belly! I don't know if I've gained a few extra pounds or if I am carrying so much lower that my belly fits in the pants differently. I thought at first that I could get away with only a pair or two of pants, but as the weather keeps cooling down and my pants continue to feel snug, I had to break down and buy one more pair of maternity pants! Oh well! Less than 2 months to go and I'll be meeting the little man and losing most of my humungo belly.
Oh and good news! Last pregnancy with L, I started swelling REALLY bad around this time. But I haven't been swollen hardly at all (especially compared to last year!), so am just praying that my ankles and fingers continue to stay relatively swollen-free over the next few weeks!!!!
