i really wanted to have a space to share wedding photos and little stories/details. we had a lot of photos taken and i haven't had much of a chance to share them with people. plus, i like being able to look back and remember details and the days! which is why i wanted to start my version of a wedding wednesday!

max and i were married in december 2009. because of the uncertainty of his schedule and not knowing whether he would be able to be home/how long he would be able to be home, in the end we had two days of wedding festivities. our wedding ceremony (which was quite small) was held earlier in the week (just before christmas), with a lovely dinner following. and then later that week (after christmas), we had a much bigger reception. it ended up being just perfect and two very lovely days. of course, being from minnesota, it was very snowy and cold for both days, but that did make for some awesome photos!

i was having a hard time narrowing down how to go about picking out photos. which means i will err on the side of putting up more photos, rather than less. to start off my wedding wednesdays, i decided to share the basics of our two days (the dress, flowers, jewelry), so enjoy:
