dr appointment.
Wednesday, April 21, 2010L had her 6-month dr appointment today. it went well. she was so serious and quiet when the nurse and dr were in the room, it made me laugh! i think she was just taking it all in - she tends to get a little shy and reserved when she meets new people, ha ha! weighed in at 15.0 pounds and was 26 inches long. the dr said she looks really good and is right on track! always good to hear! the dr did hear a little heart murmur that she has never heard before. so we will get it checked out sometime in the next week. please pray it's nothing big. of course, little L cried after her shots, but was fine within a minute. it'll be interesting the day she recognizes the dr's office for having to get shots!
yesterday marked me being 13 weeks preggo. still feeling pretty good. i just get so tired and feel like i could sleep for three days straight. of course, L not sleeping very well lately does not make me a very well-rested mama. but i also need to learn to go to sleep earlier :) i've also been pretty crampy lately, which is no fun. but i think the little blueberry is just getting bigger. it won't be much longer before i have to move back into preggo jeans. oh the joys of maternity clothing! at least i'll get to use them again, right?! i've barely been in my regular jeans and now, i will get out of them again. oh well, i always said preggo jeans were WAY more comfy anyways!!!
haven't heard from maxwell in almost two weeks. i haven't even gotten to tell him about my first preggo dr check, or when baby #2 is going to be due! needless to say, i am excited for whenever he gets to call next. at least i had gotten four days of phone calls a couple weeks ago. that is definitely getting me through this stretch. god sure knew what he was doing! i just keep praying that max is safe and doing as well as he can be right now. and i just keep telling myself that 'no news is good news', the motto many of us family members live by.
the weather has gotten SO nice out lately! we have been spending more time out and about, or being outside on walks. i can't wait for summer and for the heat to settle in! i am definitely a summer girl at heart! i love the sun! although i do have to say that spring is also an awesome season. to see all the trees bud and blossom, and the grass to get green and start really growing. to be reminded of new beginnings and growth. it's beautiful and such a great reminder.
