Our Easter 2012

Our Easter included: dying eggs.
Hunting for hidden eggs.  L lost interest pretty quickly, but Ezzy was way into wandering around the house, collecting eggs.  He would see one, look at us and giggle hysterically before picking it up and putting it in his bucket.  He had me laughing so hard.  It was cute.  He was so into it, that Max kept re-hiding the eggs, which I thought was kind of mean, but Ezzy didn't seem to care!
Waking up with a huge baby belly.  I don't know if I was just overly bloated or had on just the right clothes for the day, but it felt like my belly popped out over night!
Playing with said eggs.  Those little things kept the kids entertained all day long.  Ezzy kept collecting and then dumping.  I think we'll be finding colorful, plastic eggs around for weeks!
Getting all dolled up for church.  My sweet little babes.
Taking a family photo.  Excuse Max's sunglasses, he can't go outside without them for a few more weeks.  His eyes are doing great and he is doing well.  He is back to driving and will be going back to work this week.  It'll take a few more weeks for complete healing of his eyes, but the whole procedure went really well for him!
Having a big ham dinner.  We had a big crowd over for Easter dinner - some good friends of ours, and a bunch of guys that work with Max.  It was a packed house, but we had a great time.

Going to church and praising a risen Savior.  It seems like every year, Easter takes on a deeper meaning.  It was beautiful waking up on Sunday morning, and remembering what Jesus did on the Cross, being able to praise Him.  Because He didn't just die.  He rose again.  Death could not keep him.  The grave could not contain Him.  He did what He said He was going to do, and that makes all the difference.  My heart was nearly bursting at the seams, as I stood in church and praised Him, tears in my eyes.  He is risen.  My Redeemer is alive!
