10 Things.

1. I am a slacker and although I promised a few people that I would post with pictures by today, I have not had time to do so. Boo.  Soon enough, I'll get caught up on my pictures and posting and such.

2. Max started his 3 weeks of post-deployment time off TODAY!!!  Woot!  We are hanging around J-ville and having some visitors (Max's brother comes this week and his parents come next week!!!!).  Other than that, we are just eager to spend time together, explore more of the area and be a family :)

3. I am in love with any and all things peanut butter.  Right now, my current obsession is peanut butter hot chocolate.  UH-mazing!

4. The weather here has been gorgeous!  Yesterday, it was in the upper 70's.  Felt like summer to us Minnesotans!  We were sweating all afternoon, ha ha!  I think when summer really does hit, we'll be in for it!

5. We are having biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast tomorrow, in case you were wondering.  Which we will consume after we sleep in - no 0545 alarm tomorrow!  Yay!!

6.  L LOVES to "scare" us now.  She'll be across the room and you can see her get this little look on her face.  She starts to walk/run over towards whoever she is trying to scare, chest stuck out, butt wiggling, and then she gets all up in your face and "BA"!  It's hysterical.  I think her favorite (besides Daddy, of course) to scare is the kitty.  Poor kitty.

7. The trees are blooming here and they are stunning.

8.  I love skype.  It's great.  I have been missing my friends and family something fierce and being able to "see" their faces for a few minutes is wonderful.

9.  Max and I did our taxes last night.  It was an, um, interesting experience, ha ha!  I think he wanted to punch me half the time - we process things very differently and it's such an adventure figuring this married life/living together thing out.  Even though we had our frustrating moments, it turned out to be the favorite part of his day (and a highlight of mine) - because we figured out how to work through it.  Together.

10. I have fallen head-over-heels, sweep-me-off-my-feet in love with basset hounds.  Oh. My. Gosh. I can't help it.  I am in LOVE.  I dream about them.  It's that bad.  We are on the lookout for a basset hound puppy in our price range, in the area and available sometime in the next 6ish months.  I know, I know, we might be crazy for wanting to get a puppy with our two babes, but oh well.  Too bad.  Like I said, I am in L-O-V-E.
