yeah! it snowed this weekend! for real! the end of the week, we kept hearing about this big storm that was rolling in. it was supposedly going to snow and we kept hearing that we should stay in and that things would essentially get shut down if there was any snow. friday, there was nothing. but overnight, it started raining, which turned to snow. so when we got up saturday morning, there was about an inch of snow. and it did indeed shut pretty much everything down. the state of north carolina is just not really equipped to handle snow the way we minnesotans are used to! so it's rather funny to us! it seems like nothing to max and i, but it is a big deal down here! because of the snow, we ended up staying at the house all weekend. it was too icy to go out saturday night and on sunday, the church we had wanted to check out cancelled all the services! so we stayed in and had a lovely relaxing time!
