I am busy packing, making lunches, getting the animal's necessities and doing laundry, because tomorrow, we are heading to Charlotte.  We figured we'd head out of town before Hurricane Irene came to visit and since we have a lovely Great-aunt and Uncle only a few hours away, we decided to go for a weekend visit.  It's still unsure whether Max will come with us or not, due to his class/work schedule tomorrow and Monday, SO it might just be me and the babes making the trek.  With Lucy, the puppy. And Sophie, the kitty.  I must admit, I am a little anxious about having to do the trip all on my own - it would be one thing with just the kids, or even ONE of the animals - but BOTH?!?!  Am I crazy?!  The cat is TERRIFIED of the dog and the dog LOVES the cat!  Needless to say, it could be a very long day tomorrow and prayers for safe travels and for safety during the storm here on the East Coast would be greatly appreciated!

Remember how I posted pictures from our MN visit a few weeks ago?  And it was titled 'Part 1'?!  Yeah, that's cause there are more.  But because I have only a few minutes tonight, I just have a teaser - I'll get the rest posted this weekend.  Oh!  Oh!  AND, I have another video.  Shocking, I know.  So stay tuned - this time, it's L, showing you body parts she's learned...I'll get it posted tomorrow, if I can :)
